LIZ SHIPMAN Co-Artistic Director--Chekhov Technique"I am a Freelance Director and Specialist in Psychophysical Actor Training. I am a Certified Laban Movement Analyst, studied Chekhov with Joanna Merlin and many other world renowned Master Teachers of the Chekhov Work. My approach to training actors integrates the theories and practices of Michael Chekhov, Rudolph Laban and Arthur Lessac voice work."

"The MCIT Studio offered me the most invaluable training I could have received. Throughout the two year program they break down acting into a step by step process that can be applied to any project. The Meisner training is grounded in really seeing and really hearing what is in front of you at any given moment to then really do something (trust me, it'll make sense after some time studying here) and the Chekhov training helps to eliminate tension in the body to freely create distinct truthful physicality. The studio is challenging at all levels and with the help of my incredible classmates I was able to grow deeper and further into the work.
